The Sonesta ES in Austin underwent a comprehensive renovation aimed at enhancing comfort, convenience, and modern appeal. This project included the installation of new kitchens in the guestrooms and the addition of modern amenities. The Allied Group’s skilled team worked on the guestrooms and bathrooms, as well as significantly upgrading public spaces, including the reception/lobby area, fitness center, market, and buffet. Our team also installed a brand-new fire alarm panel and system, which required close coordination with hotel operations and the local fire department.

The guestrooms and kitchens received fresh wall treatments, luxury vinyl tile, millwork, countertops, and appliances, along with plumbing and electrical work to amplify amenities. The accessible guestrooms were all completely renovated and brought in full compliance with accessibility standards.

Many challenges arose during the renovation, including structural deficiencies that required real-time design changes and implementation by the construction team. Despite these challenges, The Allied Group successfully delivered a renovation with minimal disruption to guests.
