Located just outside the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, the Embassy Suites by Hilton embodies the vibrant energy of the surrounding city. This project involved a complete renovation of the hotel’s lobby, restaurant, boardroom, and pool area. Originally built in 1983 as an all-suite hotel, the Embassy Suites features a 10,000-square-foot atrium that serves as both the lobby and a public space. The original distinguishing elements of the atrium remained with trees, fishponds and a tropical setting inside the open space surrounded by the guest rooms overlooking all public spaces.
The Allied Group successfully transformed the hotel from its mid-80s theme into a modern, upscale gathering place. Notable additions include guest check-in “pods,” a Starbucks coffee outlet, a “Grab and Go” food option, and the first prototype of Hilton’s Brickstones Bar and Grill. Our skilled team completed this large-scale renovation while keeping the hotel operational within an aggressive 12-week schedule. This transformation occurred seamlessly in front of guests, with no interruption to service.
